Fear In Flight, God (a poem in two forms)
1.
The telly says, in Pakistan,
An airport near, another crash,
A glass of wine, the need for sleep,
2.
From night-time winter nurseries
Hijackers
Elsewhere,
They think
This is a time of cyclic myth Today's God consumes. |
