an unimpressive meeting

a child guides the adults
expects to understand their compulsion

i’m watching the plans exploding themselves
knowing the coming crash

with no intention to speak
my struggle is sleep

an intense desire to doodle
imaginary town planning

trainset delivering the suburbs
i am to remember the childhood toy

given away to an asian family
the boy had no train to play with

exciting meeting
lectures huh

about five times i’ve almost fallen
asleep out of the chair

when i close my eyes
i hallucinate small plastic bags

it’s only an hour long meeting
to cover a ten minute email
