5. Oinkmaster 2.0

Oinkmaster is a tool to regularly update your snort installation with current detection configurations. I followed the installation instructions without any problem.

I run oinkmaster from /etc/daily.local, although, if you’re more paranoid, you could probably run it more frequently using crontab.
