honey–bee [C]
Nah, if it were a mushroom,
it’d have long since been smoked by the Martians.
That’s why the rover’s not realised it’s seen them, the Martians;
they’re spaced out and stuck still from smoking all
the Martian magic mushrooms.
After all, if those mushrooms weren’t so powerful,
you’d see Martians bounding across the landscape.
Do you see them? Do you? No! Of course not.
That shows the mushrooms must be very very strong.
That’s why NASA can’t investigate the mushroom,
last thing it wants is a spaced–out rover,
it’d slobber all over the landscape as only spaced–out rovers can do.
Wow, this coffee’s strong... :-)
