a sine–wave stride
a small sprint faster than wheels
the lean back lope
the saunter with a brolly bar
the smooth stride
the relaxed shuffle
the head–nod waddle
the drizzle shift
the responsible stride

head hard against the brolly’s roof
the elephant towing the mouse
the careless roll
the toothache waddle
the elegant contradictory stride
beard to the storm
