a pond
     under ice
a sheen of snow
     bluegrey remaindered white
          gorgeous white
small arrow prints
     fall off walking birds

now
     a boy breaker
destroys
     destroys this morning light
a solid stone
     a schoolboy cannon
throws
     thrown

see that shatter
see the lines
     stun
split and jagger
     separate
see the floes

is that a big bang shatter
     to infinities of verse
is that a wave collapse
     to the many words
is that infinity
     inflation
is that heck
     how big’s the imagination

one gleeful child
boyhood explorer
     of sight effect
made in head
     visualise infinities
