What do you eat for lunch in Luxembourg?

About 80 years ago, some Irish holidaymakers accidentally let their pet leprechauns escape.

Unfortunately, the pesky creatures bred and spread. They’re now a serious nuisance, given their fondness for alcoholic beverages. Anyway, a few years ago, the government introduced a special licence for hunting the dratted things, and so, of course, they got hunted.

It was quickly discovered that leprechauns that had recently raided a winery, and drunk more than their fair share of the stock, were both easier to hunt, and tasted particularly delicious roasted.

They have now become a very popular lunchtime snack.
