I took many car photos in the day. At the time, I was a pretty stale photographer: the only images that got my camera out were models, or Citroëns, and occasionally both.
This particular image, I didn’t like, then. The model’s hair is not properly focused. I now realise it carries movement. Indeed, this has become one of my favourite photos.
The models are Dawn Davis and Doris the DS. As Dawn’s blue shows, she knew what she was doing.
