The locals are offering a free shingles vaccine for people like me, so I took it. My God, have I had a reaction, worse than any of the Covid shots. One day off work after a vaccine is rare for me, but this one is a three–dayer, at least. Ouch.
Taking the vaccine was the correct decision, but I wish it had been just a little nicer.
There’s a second dose in a couple of months time, not something I’m looking forward to receiving.
