Poetry is not about communicating emotion, it's about the soul, for which emotion is merely an essential part.

I wrote the poetry sequence some years ago, I felt a weakness in modern English poetry.

Then I discovered now modernists, loved what I found, felt like a hippo in mud. Poets like JH Prynne are creating new language, true new language, expressing the previously inexpressible. But, like any new language, you must effort learn, that's work, incomprehensible as empty lazy entertainment.
