Daws Hill Peace Camp was a little sister to Greenham Common, part of the Peace Movement’s response to Cruise Missiles.

We Young Liberals supported the Peace Camp, so many of my subjects at Daws Hill are Young Liberals. This bias doesn’t properly reflect the balance of activists who were there.

I stayed in the camp a few times, but was not among the dedicated few who kept it going.

I chose images to reflect life there, and my developing political opinions. The sets are (i), (ii), (iii), (iv), (v), (vi), (vii) & (viii).
