“for John Jones”

This poem summarises many of my doubts from my postgrad days regarding Artificial Intelligence, and attempts to addresses them. It includes references to modern physics, with rather too much poetic licence. If you don’t enjoy such things, you probably won’t enjoy the poem.

I thank Karlheinz Stockhausen for his kind permission to use the title of one of his compositions. He kindly stated this poem is “important and true”.
