This base, which was replaced by le bordel grand fromage, was built to show all the bits and pieces one can build in No Man’s Sky. I deleted it because there is a too low limit on the number of pieces one can use in bases in total, and I wanted to decorate some newer, better, bases.

The base consisted of a number of buildings, centred on a portal. The most distant building just happened to be on an electrical source. Three, acting as local teleporter steps between the portal and the power supply, were underground. The rest took advantage of the ‘natural light’, which was occasionally ok, to show off their content.

I made some mistakes when taking these screenshots, as you can see from the menu unfortunately displayed on some of them. Because I have now deleted the base, I cannot replace the shots. C’est la vie.

When I took these shots, there was an NMS bug which put buildings near portals too far off the ground. The bug was quickly fixed, just after I’d deleted the base.

Incidentally, the images were taken when No Man’s Sky had a bug that changed ground level near portals. The buildings shouldn’t be anything like as far off the ground as shown.
