Here’s some videos of my first base, as humungously expanded.
It started off as a couple of buildings and stayed that way for rather a long time.
I made a good number of beginner’s mistakes. For example, having heard about sentinals, I took lessons from other games and extended my base underground. It made no different against the sentinals, and I soon found myself wasting time as No Man’s Sky bugs forced me to redig my tunnels from time to time.
I also extended and extended this base until I eventually came across the annoying maximum amount of pieces used in total limit. Indeed, these videos were taken after I’m cleaned out some underground areas.
Why did I call it ‘Ipcress’? I have to admit, I can’t remember the precise reason I named it after the film, but it was probably because Michael Caine’s character was rather fond of simple cooking.
In the scheme of things, or for that matter the scheme of No Man’s Sky, this base isn’t that interesting. But it was my first base, significantly evolved, developed, and changed, before I finally deleted it.
