angst cycle (iii)
[ǀ] (i)

a backbone and ribs
a three dimensional image
long and thin
i’m thinking fish
the darker grey backbone
up and behind
both left and right
ribs

but the one on the right
are angled up from me
a fuzzy difficult to see
hint of ribs
the left hand side though
a long line of parallel straight lines
light grey on white

perhaps it’s a great
sky fossil
a monster so huge
it dwarfs all our machines
all the lives
ever here

a fascinating pareidolia
must of the rest of the sky
reflects a scooped out valley
in among sharp hills
a landscape
above which
this strange floating fish
once flew

perhaps if helium
had occurred naturally
in quantity
here
such a creature
might have evolved
