angst cycle (iii)
[ƿ] (iii)

against a glowing background
a badly formed pillow
with strangely
two antennae forward from the front
below an ellipse

had they been slightly lower
they’d have been bisected
by the black tower

further up
the fading bright blue
of sky at early dusk

i don’t have a clue
while the antennae
they’re there
but why this poem
why do i have to write

just looked back
they’re gone
even the glow
is now just
whiter brushwork
