angst cycle (iii)
[ǁ] (ii)

bangladeshi beaches
ships run aground
monstrosities of the sea
rotting rivet by rivet
disassembled by hand
dust that kills
freed to the air
to be inhaled
men disassembled
by their own hand
by the need to feed
their families

that’s the image
i see up there now
a collision of bows
above the black tower

that’s the image
i have of those beaches
sledgehammers slowly eating
the corpses of industry
poisoning for life

i’ve never been there
i’ll never go there
how can i really comment
