angst cycle (iii)
[E] (vii)

jesus wept
i must be giving off the vibes

i’m fucking fifty
fat and crappy
looking at me
you’d think
large cat
big hedge

by the end of this poem
big head

two dancers
thank you guy & gal
different time
gave me the lines
turns out unintentionally

and just now
late teens maybe early 20s
on the train
with her mum
not got the looks
got the potential
just staring at me

i’d been on the train
half a day
working
not noticed the girl

this time
i looked up
just staring at me
looked again
just staring at me

i suppose it depends the vibe
lust love
or monster
or both

just staring at me

i was tempted
to slip a few words
see if she’d blush
or shriek
or both

just staring at me

to be honest
i was embarrassed
a bit

so i glanced
didn’t hold contact
more than once
didn’t hold contact

just staring at me

got it
bet there’s some guy
youth famous
i lookalike
should have winked

sorry mate
well thanks

just staring at me

i like the staring
meant for you

bet you don’t
