it looks like
a 10 klick high
rolling pin
cluttered with fluff of earlier rolls
is lined up beyond the edge of the hills
ready to flatten the defence

above is decorated blue
and silver fleas actually aircraft well flee ho ho

the rolling pin’s slowly closing in
not doing the spinning
perhaps it’s too slow for me to see
but the shape is breaking
as though too much clutter
has accumulated from previous flattenings
it’s losing its shape
it’s closing
