angst cycle (iii)
[k] (v)

do not go gentle into that good pint
old drunks will burn and rave when time is rung
rage rage against the dying of the bar

though wise men at the end know dark is right
because they’ve glanced but supped no light ale they
do not go gentle into that good pint

old men their last beer gone fear a blight
promise their frail legs can dance the greenaway
rage rage against the dying of the bar

wild men who caught and read the Sun its fright
and learn too late the FT is the way
do not go gentle into that good pint

grave men near death who know with blinded sight
they need a beer once more their glass made full
rage rage against the dying of the bar

and you oh barman there in sober height
curse the customers & beg for sleep you say
do not go gentle into that good pint
ring ring so loud the dying of the bar
