angst cycle (iii)
[Ư] (iii)

the taste of attitude poison
might stew at the rims of my eyes
unless i turn it

rather like
old memories
of grandfather
spending the afternoon
turning the earth

when he could have been
in his varnish brown lab
turning papers

the earth biostuff
eats disregarded biostuff
i must eat my own bitterness
a meal of dark chocolate
hard coffee
and night almonds

perfunctory comparisons aside
this bitterness
must be denied
its requested place
in my temple
