for wanting to talk

in fact
it was abuse
“you must have imagined it”
“you’ve confusing me with someone else”

as if my memory
of the night before
was hallucinated

cleaning up confusion
does not happen
by denying the conversation
you caused

so when the chance
for conversation came
i kept quiet
waiting for the signal
of opening

it did not come
